Creating a comprehensive training library for the construction industry
Geerdink, a leading construction company in the Netherlands, approached Hidden Pixels with an ambitious challenge: create a complete video training library to upskill their entire workforce. With employees spread across multiple locations and diverse skill levels, they needed educational content that was clear, engaging, and consistent. The project required 17 individual explainer videos, each approximately 5 minutes long, covering essential construction processes, safety protocols, and company procedures. Every video needed to translate complex technical information into accessible visual content that workers could understand regardless of their background or experience level. This wasn't just about creating animations—it was about building an educational system. Each video required careful scripting in collaboration with Geerdink's technical experts, detailed storyboarding to ensure clarity, and 2D animation that balanced professionalism with approachability. The visual style needed to be serious enough for workplace training while remaining engaging enough to maintain attention throughout the entire series. The scale and consistency requirements made this project particularly demanding. With 17 videos totaling over 85 minutes of content, maintaining visual coherence, narrative clarity, and production quality across the entire series required meticulous planning and execution. Every animation decision—from color choices to iconography to pacing—was made with the complete training library in mind.
